HVAC and Refrigeration Technician for 4 and 5 Star Hotels in Europe

This role is suited to a skilled HVAC and refrigeration technician who takes pride in maintaining essential systems to a high standard. You will support hotel operations by helping ensure comfort, safety, and continuity across critical equipment, working closely with operational teams to deliver timely maintenance and repairs with minimal disruption.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems across hotel properties.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, cooling, and control system faults promptly.
• Inspect chillers, split units, cold rooms, and ventilation equipment regularly.
• Coordinate with hotel operations to minimize disruption during maintenance work.
• Maintain service records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems in hotel environments or for hotel equipment maintenance companies.
• Strong fault-finding experience across electrical, cooling, and control systems.
• Hands-on experience servicing chillers, cold rooms, split units, and ventilation equipment.
• Solid knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and health and safety standards.
• Technical certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical engineering.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Additional technical qualifications relevant to HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical engineering are a plus.
