A working product is already running on the edge, with paying clients across Jordan and the UAE and a clear focus on food production environments including restaurants, bakeries, central kitchens, and food factories.
What you will do
Shape backend architecture for edge-running computer vision systems processing video feeds from business cameras.
Build and maintain server-side infrastructure supporting paying clients in food production across international markets.
Collaborate closely with team members to scale data pipelines and optimization algorithms.
Ensure system reliability and performance in high-throughput operational environments.
What we are looking for
Proven experience in backend engineering and distributed systems.
Strong background in API design, database management, and cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with edge computing architectures or video processing pipelines.
Pragmatic problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Your first months at Agile Professionals
In your first months, you will have taken on core backend services and integrated them with the edge-running product architecture. You will have shipped improvements to data handling for clients in the food production sector and learned the specific constraints of processing operational video feeds at scale.
