We are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to join our team in Strensall, York, YO32 5SW. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual to become part of a busy catering operation, supporting the team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service across the site.

What you'll be doing
- Pot washing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the kitchen
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and food preparation areas
- Sweeping, mopping, and maintaining floors throughout the catering operation
- Cleaning dining areas and ensuring they remain presentable at all times
- Assisting with general housekeeping duties across the site
- Supporting the wider catering team with operational tasks as required
- Following health & safety, food safety, and company procedures at all times
- Helping to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues

- Flexible approach and willingness to undertake a variety of duties
- Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Full training will be provided, so previous experience is not essential
Important Requirements
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check
- BPSS security clearance will be required prior to commencing employment
