Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at Warner

Bros. Studios Leavesden, WD25 7LP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and

talented pastry professional to take the next step in their culinary career within a prestigious

and fast-paced environment. Working alongside the senior kitchen team, you will play a key

role in delivering exceptional pastry products, desserts and baked goods while maintaining

the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Job Description

As a Pastry Sous Chef, you will support the Pastry Head Chef and wider culinary team in the

preparation, production and presentation of high-quality desserts, pastries and bakery items.

You will help oversee the day-to-day operation of the pastry section, ensuring consistency,

creativity and excellence across all services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes and baked goods
• Supporting the management of the pastry section and ensuring smooth day-to-day

operations

• Assisting with menu development and seasonal dessert offerings
• Maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation and consistency standards
• Supervising and supporting junior pastry team members
• Monitoring stock levels, ordering ingredients and minimising food waste
• Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures
• Contributing innovative ideas to enhance the customer dining experience
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient working environment

• Previous experience as a Pastry Sous Chef, Senior Pastry Chef de Partie or similar

pastry role

• Strong knowledge of pastry production, baking techniques and dessert presentation
• Passion for delivering exceptional food quality and creativity
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety regulations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• A positive attitude and strong team-working skills
• Relevant culinary or pastry qualifications are desirable
