Arcadis is a Dutch design and consultancy firm whose predecessor was founded in 1888 to reclaim wasteland in the Netherlands, and which now works on the built and natural environment worldwide. It provides engineering, architecture, environmental consulting, water management and cost and programme management for transport networks, water systems, buildings and industrial facilities, and it has expanded into digital advisory through acquisitions including IBI Group.
