What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate AWS Cloud Developer who will join our team at R&D Directorate.

• Design cloud services for the HomeWhiz IoT Platform,
• Improve the architecture on a regular basis for better performance, cost, and availability,
• Sync up with the mobile/embedded/design teams for the development of upcoming features.

The position is located inArçelik IoT Labs inAnkara “ODTÜ Teknokent”.

How do we describe the perfect fit?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering (M.Sc. or Ph.D. would be a plus),
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the development of AWS cloud services,
• Being comfortable with test-driven development, agile methodologies, and Git workflow,
• Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud & Proven Experience in developing AWS Cloud-based Applications,
• Strong knowledge of Java (Python, Go, or NodeJS is a plus) programming language with a neat understanding of software architecture design in general,
• Deep hands-on development and operations experience with AWS cloud platform (Terraform is a plus)
• Broad experience in front-end & back-end frameworks,
• Thorough understanding of SQL & NoSQL database systems,
• Strong knowledge of networking & lightweight messaging protocols,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Flexible and open to new perspectives and diversity,
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset,
