Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for bright and extraordinary Software Developers to join our technology team. You will build next-generation software used by some of the most sophisticated alternative asset managers, as well as architect solutions to support new technical and business initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance software platforms, with Java and Go as the primary languages for backend services and systems programming.
• Build next-generation, distributed software used by the most sophisticated alternative asset managers.
• Own product features end-to-end from concept and architecture through implementation and production.
• Develop highly scalable systems capable of handling large data volumes, ensuring high availability and extensibility for onboarding new clients.
• Write performant, concurrent Go services for latency-sensitive workloads and data pipelines, alongside robust Java-based application layers.
• Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and end users to integrate software components into a fully functional system.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Java and Go.
• Hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices in both Java and Go.
• Solid understanding of concurrency and parallelism threading models in Java (ExecutorService, CompletableFuture) and Go's goroutine/channel models.
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and data modeling; familiarity with ORM frameworks such as MyBatis or Hibernate.
• Experience with at least one shell scripting language (Bash or Python) for automation and tooling.
• Working proficiency in written and verbal English.
• Deep problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements.
• Attention to detail, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to write thorough unit, integration, and end-to-end test cases based on specifications.

Preferred:

• Experience with AWS and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Background in the financial domain: familiarity with concepts such as portfolio management, fund accounting, trade lifecycle, or alternative assets.
• Exposure to UI development (React, TypeScript, or similar modern frontend frameworks).
