What You’ll Do
- Help build aircraft subsystems integration test labs
- Read wiring diagrams and schematics, and have the ability to understand common electrical symbols and components
- Repair and replace aircraft subsystem components in a lab environment
- Maintain lab documentation for lab modifications, repairs and upgrades
- Inspect the work of other technicians to ensure quality and conformity with design specifications
- Troubleshoot integration encountered
- Fabricate and ring-out wiring harnesses for Aerospace Industry Standards.
What You Need
- 5 years of experience as an electrical technician in Aviation, Aerospace or similar industry
- Superior technical skills and expertise in avionics and aircraft subsystems operation and troubleshooting
- Hands on experience cutting, splicing and crimping wires to fabricate a wide variety of harnesses types
- Extreme attention to detail and high expectations for quality technical work
- Ability to replace various subsystems components
- A safety conscious mindset for ensuring the wellbeing of all working in the labs
- Set an example for a high standard of technical work for other team members
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience maintaining / modifying certified aircraft.
- A&P License
- Inspection Authorization (IA)
- Experience with FAA type certification and conformal test setups
- Familiarity with high voltage systems
