Inventory Specialist

Manufacturing Operations | Albany, GA

Arclin USA is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist for its Albany, GA manufacturing location. Reporting to theShipping & Receiving Manager, this role helps ensure accurate inventory records, timely material flow, and strong customer service. The Inventory Specialist worksclosely with Shipping, Production, Accounting,and site leadershipto receivematerials, verifyraw materialand packaging inventory,support the production schedule,and completephysical counts of raw materials and finished goods.

KeyResponsibilities

· Coordinatewith Shipping, Production, Accounting, and site leadership to support accurateinventory control and reporting.

o Review dailyraw material quantitieson hand, including bulk tankers, totes, pallets, packaging supplies, and related materials, to ensure availability forthe production schedule.

§ Identify, document, and report inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.

o Lead weekly and monthly cyclecounts of raw materialsandfinished goods.

o Track and reconcile raw material and finished goods inventory stored at outside warehouses while supporting FIFO inventory practices.

o Serve as the siteliaison to the Corporate Production Planner.

o Receivematerials in the digital tracking system, including Business Central, JD Edwards, or other applicable inventory systems.

o Manage finished goods rework inventory cycles to support the asset schedule.

· Assist with production, safety, and environmental supplies inventory management and ordering.

· Reviewshipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and relatedrecords to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and methods neededto meet receiving and delivery schedules.

· Compile and maintainrecords of unfilled orders.

· Help minimize logisticsbottlenecks within the plant.

· Post weightsand shipping chargesaccurately.

· Prepare bills of lading and related shipping documentation.

· Follow allsafety and security procedures, reportpotentially unsafe conditions, and useequipment and materials properly.

· Maintaina clean, organized,and safe workenvironment.

· Attendall required safety training and perform all duties in a safe manner.

Qualifications

· High school diplomaor GED required.

· Associate degree in Business,Supply Chain,Accounting, or a related field preferred.

· 3-5 years of related experience and/or training in a manufacturingenvironment.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional email communication and the ability to explain decisions or directions clearly.

· Strong computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems, queries, reporting, purchase order execution, receiving processes, Excel data analysis, pivot tables, Microsoft Office, and database tools such as Access.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to optimize storage space, inventory flow, delivery timing, supplier options, tank-level readouts, and external warehousing needs.

· Self-starter with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

· Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while adjusting priorities as business needs change.

· Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including sitting, standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, handling materials, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, or crouching as needed. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 poundsand must have close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus. This role requires frequent walking throughproduction and warehouse areas to validateinventory.
