At Arctic Wolf, you won’t just watch the cybersecurity industry evolve - you'll help lead the change. Our global Pack is made up of people who thrive on solving hard problems, moving fast, and building technology that protects organizations around the world. We’re proud to be recognized by Forbes, CNBC, Fortune, CRN, Bartner Peer Insights and IDC MarketScape - but what matters most is the work behind it: delivering real outcomes for customers through award winning innovation like our Aurora Platform.
If you’re looking for meaningful work, smart teammates and the chance to make a real impact in a high-growth company that’s redefining security operations, Arctic Wolf is the right place for you!
Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for a Product Manager-Platform to be part of making this/that happen.
Position Overview and Objective
You'll join a team shaping the frontier of how AI and automated systems reach Arctic Wolf's platform. This posting covers two related focus areas: permissioning and access-control systems (how system roles and access models work across single-tenant and multi-tenant/MSP customers), and developer platform and MCP (the public developer experience for discovering and adopting access to the platform). Through the interview process, we'll work with you to identify which focus area best fits your background and interests, so you don't need to know which one you are before applying.
Both areas are technical and platform-facing, and both will involve partnering closely with engineering on system design, including reviewing high-level design documents (HLDs) and building prototypes or proofs of concept to validate direction before committing to full engineering investment. Depending on focus area, your work may be primarily internal-facing (systems used by internal teams and technical partners) or may extend to a public-facing surface, where developers and technical evaluators can explore and adopt platform capabilities before they're a customer at all.
Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize product requirements for new programmatic and AI-driven access capabilities (API, protocol-based, or natural-language interfaces), or for the systems and roles that govern access to them.
- Partner with engineering on technical design and tradeoffs, including reviewing HLDs and providing product input on technical approach.
- Build prototypes and proofs of concept to validate product direction ahead of full engineering investment.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure new capabilities are properly scoped, tested, and governed before release.
- Represent the needs of the people and systems that depend on your area, whether internal technical partners, external developers, or both.
- Track adoption, usage, and technical health metrics to guide roadmap decisions.
Experience & Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally with technical, platform, or developer-facing products.
- Experience in one or more of the following: role-based access control (RBAC), identity, or permissioning systems across single- or multi-tenant models; or API/protocol design, developer platforms, and public/self-serve product experiences.
- Comfortable partnering directly with engineers on technical specifications and tradeoffs, including reviewing and giving product input on technical design documents.
- Experience building prototypes or PoCs to validate product direction ahead of full engineering investment.
- Strong communicator able to translate between technical and business stakeholders.
- Thrives operating in an evolving architecture with real ambiguity, and is comfortable with scope shifting as the space matures.
Why This Role
This is real technical ownership, not requirements administration. You'll partner directly with engineering on systems that the rest of the platform depends on, with genuine architectural input: reviewing HLDs, shaping tradeoffs, and building prototypes to test direction before engineering commits. You'll join a small team at the ground floor of one of the first governed AI-access layers in the security industry, with a growth path shaped by how fast this space matures, not a fixed org chart.
