What will you contribute?
As part of the Architecture & Standards team in Finastra’s AI COE, the AI Solutions Architect provides the technical blueprints and standards necessary to keep the AI initiatives stable.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
Your deliverables as an AI Solutions Architect will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Design and develop comprehensive technical architectures for AI solutions that align with enterprise standards and business objectives
- Create and maintain architectural blueprints, patterns, and frameworks for AI implementations across the organization
- Establish and enforce technical standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for AI initiatives
- Evaluate and recommend AI technologies, platforms, and tools that support scalable and sustainable solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical architecture specifications
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance to ensure solutions meet quality, security, and performance standards
- Document architectural decisions, design patterns, and technical specifications for AI projects
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies across AI initiatives
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams on architectural principles and standards
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry trends to continuously improve architectural approaches
- Leverage AI-driven insights and trusted data to enhance productivity, optimise workflows, and enable faster, higher-quality business decisions while applying sound human judgement and adapting to evolving capabilities.
Required Experience
- Strong background in solution architecture with focus on AI/ML technologies and platforms
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale AI solutions
- Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks, cloud platforms, and modern architecture patterns
- Expertise in establishing technical standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
- Experience with data architecture, integration patterns, and API design
- Strong knowledge of security, compliance, and privacy considerations in AI implementations
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and influencing technical direction
- Track record of delivering stable, scalable, and maintainable AI solutions
