Founding Account Executive

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Founding Account Executive to own enterprise sales from prospecting to closure and help build the sales function from the ground up.
Total Experience: 5 - 10 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the complete enterprise sales cycle from first meeting to contract closure.
- Sell B2B SaaS/technology solutions to large enterprises and CXO-level stakeholders.
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales involving Business, IT, Procurement and Operations.
- Conduct POCs, build ROI/business cases, negotiate and close high-value deals.
- Drive account expansion from initial deployment to larger/multi-site engagements.
- Build sales processes, qualification frameworks, CRM practices and sales playbooks.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to bring customer feedback into the roadmap.
- Eventually hire, train and lead the Account Executive team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience with strong Enterprise B2B SaaS sales exposure.
- Proven track record of personally closing large enterprise deals.
- Experience managing long and complex sales cycles.
- Strong CXO-level communication and presentation skills.
- 2+ years of startup experience and comfort working in a 0-to-1 environment.
- Technical understanding to confidently discuss technology, IT and security requirements.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings/site visits.
- Strong ownership and leadership mindset.
Good to Have:
- Experience selling to Manufacturing / Automotive / Industrial / IoT / Industry 4.0 customers.
- Experience selling AI or Computer Vision solutions.
- Existing enterprise/manufacturing CXO network.
- Experience as an early sales hire and building a sales team.
- IIT or IIM preferred.
