Sr. Engineering Manager - GenAI

As a Senior Engineering Manager - GenAI, you'll lead a high-performing team to build and scale state-of-the-art GenAI solutions from prompt-based systems to RAG and AI agents with direct impact on healthcare operations in the US. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of GenAI/NLP engineers, driving performance, growth, and collaboration.
• Define the technical roadmap for scaling GenAI applications in healthcare.
• Drive architecture and design decisions for LLM-powered, RAG, and AI agent systems.
• Oversee deployment, monitoring, and cost optimization of production AI/ML systems.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, clinical, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, ICD-10 CPT).
• Build an inclusive, high-performance engineering culture that balances innovation and delivery.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with GenAI/LLMs/deep learning.
• 2+ years of people management experience (teams of 5-10 engineers).
• Strong engineering background in Python and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expertise in NLP, transformers (e. g., BERT), GANs, or related architectures.
• Experience deploying production-scale AI/ML systems with monitoring and MLOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence stakeholders.
• Bonus: Experience with healthcare technology, regulated industries, or medical coding standards.
