The Aroostook Agency on Agingis now hiring Personal Support Specialists (PSS) (also accepting those with CNA)to provide in-home care to older adults and individuals with disabilities across Caribou, Presque Isle, Southern Aroostook, St. John Valley and surrounding communities.

Pay & Bonuses
- $18.31/hour starting pay(with PSS/CNA certification)
- Weekend & holiday pay differentials
- $500 bonusfor certified PSS/CNA (after 6 months, working 20+ hrs/week)
- $250 bonusif we pay for your PSS certification (after completion + 6 months employment)

What You’ll Do
As a PSS/CNA, you will provide essential in-home support based on each client’s individualized care plan. Duties may include:
- Personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Mobility assistance and transfers
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Grocery shopping and errands
What We’re Looking For
- Certified PSS or CNA OR we will pay for you to complete the PSS training
- Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
- Compassion for older adults and individuals with disabilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a variety of home environments
Work Environment
- Work takes place in clients’ homes throughout Aroostook County
- Travel required
- Work in varying home conditions and weather
