Job Description: ETL / SSIS / SQL / Data Warehousing Developer

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced ETL / Data Warehousing Developer with strong expertise in SQL, SSIS, ETL development, and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining data integration pipelines and scalable data warehouse solutions.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience working with complex data sets, developing ETL workflows, writing optimized SQL queries, and supporting enterprise data integration and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems.
• Develop and manage SSIS packages for enterprise-scale data integration and migration.
• Write complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Design and implement data warehouse solutions, including dimensional models, fact tables, dimension tables, and ETL workflows.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Analyze existing data pipelines and identify opportunities for performance optimization and automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL, SQL, data integration, and production data issues.
• Work with business analysts, data engineers, architects, and reporting teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop processes to support incremental data loads, historical data management, and data synchronization.
• Monitor ETL jobs and ensure successful execution of scheduled data loads.
• Participate in data migration and integration initiatives across multiple systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to ETL processes, data mappings, workflows, and data warehouse structures.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with ETL development.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and architecture.
• Experience with dimensional data modeling, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Knowledge of Fact and Dimension tables, slowly changing dimensions (SCD), and incremental data loading.
• Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading processes.
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing ETL workflows and SQL queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments.
• Exposure to SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Agent, and related Microsoft data technologies.
• Experience with data migration and system integration projects.
• Familiarity with BI/reporting environments such as Power BI or SSRS is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in ETL/Data Engineering/Data Warehousing, with strong hands-on experience in SSIS and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-level data integration and data warehouse solutions.
