Job Title Senior Service Designer

Location Hyderabad / Pune (Hybrid Work Mode)

About the Role

This role focuses on uncovering complex business scenarios, translating research into actionable insights, and shaping service experiences that drive measurable business impact. As a Senior Service Designer, you will work across various business units to map out end-to-end service experiences, identify friction points in current workflows, and create clear visual narratives. You will act as a strategic problem-solver who combines design thinking and systems-level analysis to support transformation initiatives and help cross-functional teams make confident, informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Discover Scenarios Across Business Units: Conduct observational research, contextual inquiries, and stakeholder interviews to understand workflows, operational processes, and identify inefficiencies or friction points.
• Generate Insights Through Analysis: Analyze research to identify patterns and opportunity areas. Create visualizations like service blueprints, journey maps, and ecosystem views to map pain points and dependencies.
• Identify Opportunities: Translate insights into "How might we..." statements and design principles. Partner with UX Designers and cross-functional teams to build opportunity frameworks, readiness assessments, and transformation roadmaps.
• Visualize Findings: Develop high-quality visual artifacts and structured documentation for insight decks, stakeholder presentations, and workshops using strong storytelling skills to drive decision-making.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with Business Analysts, UX Designers, and technology/product teams to validate findings with operational data and translate service insights into tangible experience opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Service Design, CX Strategy, UX Research, Business Design, or Business Consulting.
• Research & Synthesis: Strong background in qualitative research, stakeholder interviews, synthesis, and insight generation.
• Technical Design Skills: Proven ability to document complex workflows and create service blueprints, journey maps, process models, and structured documentation.
• Systems Thinking: Deep understanding of how people, processes, technology, and business outcomes intersect.
• Soft Skills: Excellent visual communication, storytelling, ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently, and confidently influence stakeholders.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio or case studies showcasing strategic thinking, service design depth, and tangible business impact.
