Job Overview- Job Title: PVC Pipe Machine Operator
- Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
- Employment Type: Full-time
The company is looking for a skilled PVC Pipe Machine Operator to run and oversee PVC pipe extrusion machines, ensuring that quality PVC pipes are produced efficiently and in line with the required specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Run and oversee PVC pipe extrusion machines throughout the production process.
- Configure and fine-tune machine settings such as temperature, pressure and speed.
- Load PVC materials into the extrusion machine as required by production targets.
- Keep watch over the extrusion, cooling, sizing and cutting stages.
- Ensure pipes meet the required sizes, dimensions and quality standards.
- Check finished pipes for defects, correct sizing, thickness and overall quality.
- Make basic machine adjustments and resolve minor operational problems.
- Handle routine cleaning and light maintenance of machines and production equipment.
- Flag machine faults, unusual operation and production issues to the supervisor.
- Minimum of SSCE/OND or an equivalent technical qualification.
- 2–5 years of practical, hands-on experience running PVC pipe extrusion machines.
- Experience in PVC pipe manufacturing/extrusion is required.
