I- JOB TITLE
TOOL ROOM INVENTORY CLERK
II- THE ROLE
The Tool Room Inventory Clerk is responsible for the control, issue and return of tools and equipment, for maintaining accurate tool room records, and for ensuring the traceability and calibration status of all tooling. This role also involves counting and reconciling tools and consumables and assisting in the organization of the tool room storage.
Key Responsibilities:
– Receive, inspect and record incoming tools, equipment and consumables.
– Record all tool issues and returns in the tool control system.
– Conduct daily tool checks and regular physical inventories of the tool room.
– Maintain and update the tool room database and tool history records.
– Monitor calibration due dates; tag and report unserviceable or lost tools.
– Organize tool room storage and coordinate replenishment with the warehouse.
– Prepare tool room reports and assist in internal and regulatory audits.
– Follow safety and FOD procedures and keep the work area organized.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
III- QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
BAC technique
Fluency in English; proficiency in French or other languages is an advantage
