Introduction to the Job

ASML develops technology that enables the semiconductor industry to produce smaller, faster, and more energy-efficient microchips. As a Service Event Planner, you will help ensure critical service parts are available when customers need them.

You will coordinate service-event requirements, material availability, and planning timelines for customers across North America. Your work will support reliable equipment performance, successful maintenance activities, and a positive customer experience.

Role and Responsibilities

The Service Event Plannermanages service events from initial planning through completion. You will collaborate with service, engineering, logistics, inventory, and customer-facing teams to identify risks and keep events on schedule.

In this role, you will:

  • Create, maintain, and close service events using demand-planning and service-planning systems.
  • Partner with field service teams to confirm work scope, replacement parts, and required delivery dates are aligned with actual customer need and execution timeline.
  • Review schedules, material availability, and event status to maintain accurate and realistic planning dates.
  • Identify parts shortages and readiness risks, then communicate priorities and recommended actions to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate material requirements for new products, equipment improvements, and implementation activities.
  • Evaluate available and excess inventory to reduce waste and support upcoming customer service events.
  • Review completed events to identify lessons related to material usage, cost, quality, and planning accuracy.
  • Support spares demand planning in Cymer’s D&S process for the IBO organization.

Education and Experience

As a Service Event Planner, you will need the following education and experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain management, operations, logistics, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of relevant experience for Job Grade 7, or five or more years of relevant experience for Job Grade 8, in service planning, demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, production planning, logistics, or field service support.
  • Experience coordinating complex material requirements across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using enterprise resource planning, demand-planning, or supply chain systems, such as Oracle Demantra.
  • Experience analyzing planning data, identifying operational risks, and communicating recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor equipment, manufacturing, or another complex technical environment is beneficial.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$88,400-121,550

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
