QUALIFICATIONS: Some college level education required; Bachelors Degree preferred. Four years experience in the area of education administration. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office suite and possess excellent customer service skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Registrar Duties:
Keep & track accurate records of new and re-enrollment students. All students and their appropriate records are to be entered in the computer and a consolidated report is to be reconciled with the Director of Admissions and Accounting Department. Coordinate and mail Teacher Assignment Packet from campus, mailing labels should be created from computer database. Prior to the mailing of the fall packets, all forms must be presented to and approved by the Campus Director and the Director of Education. Keep track of and route all student adds, drops and informational changes. Create cum folders for all new and re-enrolled students, making sure to include all testing materials. Request all records from the student’s previous school. Follow up on calls to parents who have not signed and returned the proper forms - including Emergency Cards; Immunization Cards; etc.) Coordinate Attendance Module and track student attendance in computer via classroom teacher. Ensure completion of Department of Social Services forms for all pre-school students. (5 forms involved- if applicable) Record and submit DSS reports and Immunization Reports for state in fall - must have approval from Campus Director prior to submittal. Record Teacher Recommendations for each student each year. Produce report for class placements by Directors in summer. Create and enter Jr. High schedule and maintain all Class Lists Enter and maintain Preschool Schedule and Preschool Sign in Sheets (if applicable) File annual Private School Affidavit-Annual Report-must have approval from Campus Director prior to submittal. Transfer & upload grades from Net Classroom to Blackbaud, receive teacher sign-off, run report cards/progress reports, print, sort, stuff, & return/mail out. (6 times per year) Process and store all cum files for graduated and dropped students. Purge and maintain all files according to status. Keep files stored by year of drop and in alphabetical order. Process all transcript requests. The Director of Admissions must approve release of file to the requesting school, as the students account must be clear of any financial obligations.
Administrative Assistant (if applicable):
Submit purchasing requisitions via COUPA software for entire campus.
Ordering of textbooks for all grades including; science, foreign language, social studies, and health grade levels. Ordering and distribution of student magazines: National Geographic, Weekly Reader, Let’s Find Out, Scholastic News, Scholastic Art, and Schoolarts. Act as the main backup for front desk. Manage Campus Administrator’s calendars. Other duties as assigned.
WORKENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primarily an office/sedentary position. May require some degree of intermittent bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching. May require lifting and carrying of up to 30 lbs.
