Stryker is an American medical technology company founded in 1941 by an orthopaedic surgeon who began manufacturing the mobility devices he had designed for his own patients. It sells hip and knee implants, trauma and extremity fixation, spinal implants, surgical power tools and navigation, hospital beds and stretchers, emergency response equipment, and the Mako robotic arm used for joint replacement planning and execution. Headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it has grown through a steady stream of acquisitions and is one of the largest orthopaedic device makers in the world.
Work Flexibility: Onsite

What You Get Out of the Internship

At Stryker, we believe developing the next generation of talent is just as important as developing life-changing medical technologies. As an Inside Sales Engineering Intern, you will be an active member of the Sales Engineering team, supporting the technology, tools, and processes that help our sales teams deliver better customer experiences.

You will gain exposure to how clinical workflows, connected care solutions, software, hardware, and networks come together in healthcare environments. This internship is designed to build both your technical and business skills while giving you meaningful experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused organization.

As an intern, you will:

· Apply classroom knowledge to real-world technical sales and healthcare technology projects.

· Assist with documenting technical workflows, product capabilities, and best practices.

· Help maintain demo environments, technical assets, and sales tools used by the field team.

· Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Clinical, Implementation, and other cross-functional partners.

· Build presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills while learning how technology supports better patient care.

· Network with technical experts across the business while receiving mentorship from experienced Sales Engineers.

Who We Want

Challengers. People who seek out difficult problems, ask thoughtful questions, and work to find the right solution.

Teammates. Partners who listen to ideas, share knowledge, and work well with others to move the business forward.

Curious learners. Individuals who are interested in technology, healthcare, and understanding how complex systems work together.

Clear communicators. People who can translate technical information into simple, organized, and understandable content for different audiences.

Customer-oriented achievers. Individuals with a strong work ethic and a mindset focused on helping internal teams and customers succeed.

Organized problem-solvers. Interns who can manage multiple priorities, follow through on details, and bring structure to complex projects.

Game changers. Persistent interns who are excited to contribute to Stryker's mission to make healthcare better.

Opportunities Available

As an Inside Sales Engineering Intern, you may support projects across several areas of the Sales Engineering organization, including:

Technical Sales Support: Assist with technical research, opportunity preparation, solution documentation, and internal sales support for connected healthcare technologies.

Product Demonstrations and Demo Environments: Help prepare, maintain, and improve product demo environments, demo kits, presentations, and supporting materials used by Sales Engineers and customers.

Solution Design and Documentation: Support the creation of solution diagrams, workflow documentation, technical requirements, and customer-facing resources that explain how Stryker solutions fit into clinical environments.

Sales Enablement and Process Improvement: Help develop tools, training materials, knowledge resources, and process improvements that make the Sales Engineering team more effective and consistent.
