IT Business Analyst / Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented IT Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our IT Project Management team on a maternity leave cover contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering IT projects throughout the full project lifecycle while providing business analysis support for technology initiatives and system enhancements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technology specialists to drive digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Prepare business and functional requirements documentation for new systems and enhancements.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage APIs, integrations, data mapping, and system workflow requirements and documentation.
• Support solution design, gap analysis, and change request management.
• Develop and coordinate test cases and support UAT, SIT, and functional testing activities.
• Monitor project scope, timelines, risks, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation and planning to implementation and post-project monitoring.
• Ensure successful project delivery within approved scope, schedule, and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT Business Analysis, Project Management, System Analysis, Software Development, or related fields.
• Strong experience in gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional specifications and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of software development methodologies and frameworks, including SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Experience with business analysis artifacts such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process maps, and workflow diagrams.
• Knowledge of API integrations, REST APIs, data mapping, system workflows, and software testing methodologies.
• Experience supporting UAT, SIT, solution validation, and software implementation projects.
• Proficiency in MS Project, BPMN 2.0, JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Postman, Swagger, Figma, Miro, and Microsoft Power Platform applications.
• Intermediate English and fluent Kazakh and Russian language skills.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or AMP, as well as experience in software engineering, system analysis, IT architecture, CRM Bitrix, or database management, will be considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills with a results-oriented approach.
