As a Home Move Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering our active asset disposal programme, helping customers move safely and successfully into new homes while ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout. You'll work closely with residents, local authorities, contractors and internal teams to coordinate seamless moves and create positive outcomes for customers, including those with complex needs and vulnerabilities. What You'll Be Doing As a Home Move Coordinator, you'll manage a diverse caseload of customers requiring relocation, providing tailored support from the first conversation through to settling into their new home. Key responsibilities include: Acting as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the moving journey.
Building trusted relationships with residents, ensuring they feel informed, supported and valued at every stage. Developing personalised move plans and decant packages that meet individual customer needs. Arranging accommodation, removals and practical support to deliver a smooth and successful move.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across Housing, Development, Communications, Maintenance and Strategic Asset Management teams. Liaising with local authorities, housing providers, contractors and partner agencies to identify suitable housing solutions. Managing complex and high-profile cases while balancing customer needs, project timescales and budgets.
Leading meetings with contractors and stakeholders to track progress and resolve issues proactively. Identifying and mitigating risks, protecting both customer outcomes and organisational reputation. Maintaining accurate records, managing payments and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who combines strong organisational skills with genuine compassion and excellent communication abilities. You'll ideally have: Experience in customer-facing roles within housing, asset management, development or a related sector. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences.
Experience supporting customers from diverse backgrounds, including those with complex needs. An understanding of safeguarding, customer vulnerability and the importance of tailored support. Knowledge of housing and tenancy legislation.
The confidence to manage challenging conversations professionally and empathetically. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems.
A proactive, solution-focused approach with excellent attention to detail. This role will see you out and about in our communities, so you will have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
