As an Associate Brand Manager within AstraZeneca Haematology, you will play a pivotal role in translating strategy into impact. Working as part of a high-performing cross-functional team, you will coordinate key brand initiatives, orchestrate complex projects, identify practical opportunities to improve delivery, and partner closely with Brand, Medical, and Oncology Business Excellence colleagues.

Accountabilities
Delivery Planning & Project Management
- Support delivery of the Brand Operational Plan, ensuring activities are executed to agreed quality, timelines, and budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and campaigns, maintaining visibility of milestones, risks, dependencies, and actions.
- Support Brand Managers in translating campaign plans into executable activity plans and delivery schedules.
- Act as a central point of coordination across agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of agreed priorities.
Asset Development & Materials Management
- Support the development, review, approval, deployment, and ongoing management of promotional and non-promotional materials.
- Maintain oversight of the core asset library, ensuring materials remain compliant, accessible, current, and aligned to brand priorities.
- Coordinate updates, adaptations, and deployment of materials in response to new data, campaign requirements, and customer needs.
Governance & Operational Excellence
- Manage approval workflows through Veeva PromoMats and associated systems.
- Ensure all activities comply with AstraZeneca governance requirements, internal policies, and the ABPI Code of Practice.
- Maintain high standards of operational excellence across campaign delivery, supplier management, asset deployment, and project execution.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve ways of working, and enhance delivery effectiveness.
Financial & Performance Support
- Manage assigned budgets, purchase orders, contracts, and supplier expenditure.
- Track delivery of marketing activities against agreed objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor campaign and asset deployment metrics, providing reports and recommendations to support performance reviews and continuous improvement.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or related industries.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience delivering projects through cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build effective working relationships across diverse teams.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies, or external suppliers.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear and actionable plans.
- Curiosity, learning agility, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in oncology, haematology, or specialty care.
- Understanding of the NHS environment and pharmaceutical promotional compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting product launches or significant brand initiatives.
- Experience working with Veeva PromoMats or similar content approval systems.
- Experience supporting multichannel campaign execution, content development, or asset deployment.
- Demonstrated capability in applying AI and digital technologies to improve efficiency, asset development, and operational delivery.
