This innovative facility will deliver end-to-end Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) capabilities with different manufacturing units/buildings in one campus

• Small molecule- chemical API production
• Large molecule- monoclonal antibody manufacturing
• Conjugation
• Fill-and-finish operations, including sterile filling and lyophilization
• Final secondary packaging

Introduction to role:

Are you ready to elevate asset performance so more life-changing medicines reach patients faster and more sustainably? As Engineering Specialist - Asset Management, you will be the technical authority who turns complex equipment and systems into reliable, efficient, and compliant assets that power our manufacturing and supply network.

Reporting - to the Director Asset Management & Maintenance, you will connect day-to-day reliability and start-up readiness with long-term lifecycle value, using data, Lean thinking, and engineering judgement to reduce downtime, improve yield, and lower cost of ownership. Accountabilities:

• Manages or provides technical support to program management, project execution, start up and site operations readiness with focus on the life cycle process of assets, including and not limited to creation and management of master data and failure mode analysis
• Acts as technical expert in engineering function and provides complete oversight in the life cycle management of all on site equipment, machine components, controls and infrastructure. Provides technical consultancy to stake-holders.
• Manages and exe-cutes project activities from planning through implementation and provides functional expertise to project owners. Capable in managing small teams on need basis.
• Identifies, evaluates, recommends and selects technical options to be adopted from global or industry standards and aligned with local business priorities and objectives
• Keeps own knowledge of the best -practices and new developments up to date
• Takes ownership in managing asset life cycle for equipment and engineering systems to guarantee performance, compliance, efficiency and optimised cost of ownership
• Supports “hands on” trouble shooting, collects data, runs analytics, and translates learning to standard operations.
• Applies and effectively drives problem solving attitude by using lean framework and data analytics
• Gathers and analyses data related to establishing and maintaining business processes and procedures
• Prepares technical governance documentation and asset status reports, including but not limited to forecasting, ad-herence to key performance indicators, technical analytics, recommendations for improvement
• Leads preparations of investment applications, business -cases with short / long term value and benefits
• Co-ordinates resources within the operational teams, project teams or across site to drive value outcome
• · Ensure compliance of own work and work of others with cGMP, SHE- standards and local -regulations.

Specific Responsibilities/ Tasks

Technical Ownership: Serves as the technical owner for defined areas of process equipment and systems, providing lead expertise and consultancy to collaborators to optimize performance, efficiency and reliability.

Asset Lifecycle Management: Own the lifecycle of equipment and engineering systems to guarantee performance, compliance, efficiency, and optimized cost of ownership. Manages equipment health with suppliers using advanced data analytics and continuous improvements and innovation.

Project Execution: Plan and deliver project activities from concept to implementation, contributing functional expertise and managing small teams where needed to achieve breakthroughs on time and on budget.

Start-Up and Site Readiness: Prepare manufacturing areas for start-up, ensuring operational readiness, robust procedures, and smooth handover into standard operations.

Technical advancements: Identify, evaluate, and recommend technical options aligned with global or industry standards and local business priorities to increase quality, speed, and cost-effectiveness.

Knowledge Leadership: Stay ahead of standard methodologies and new developments; translate learning into updated standards and ways of working to continuously improve operations.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor ’s - degree in engineering
• Mastery in understanding of principles and concepts in technical area of engineering
• Experience in project management
• Sound understanding of cGMP, SHE standards, Standard Operating Procedures and local regulatory standards
• Relevant qualification
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry
• Managing small groups of people
