Housekeeping Clerk

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
• Report to work punctually in the correct uniform and nametag.
• Check the mailroom daily.
• Receive and dispatch requests within established timelines.
• Maintain and file employee records and documentation accurately.
• Prepare and submit employee action forms to Human Resources.
• Type memos and correspondence as required.
• Manage room status updates, discrepancies, and room availability in the system.
• Complete and submit daily discrepancy and housekeeping reports.
• Assist with document filing and record maintenance.
• Follow up on Quality Assurance issues and reported discrepancies.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally.
• Print maid assignment sheets and room status reports.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance regarding late check-out rooms.
• Process and transfer lost-and-found items to Security as assigned.
• Safeguard company property and minimize waste.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
• Be available to work rotating shifts as required in a 24-hour operation.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience preferred.
• Computer literacy in:
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook
• Excellent command of the English Language and second language preferred but not essential.
