Laundry Field Technician

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage computer loading and offloading of washers, dryers and tunnels correctly, ensuring maximum productivity.
• Track and monitor the E-tech system that washers/tunnel linens are correctly weighted to ensure utility efficiency and production requirements are met.
• Ensure Etech Bags are correctly calibrated from computer reports.
• Enter the correct formulas based on linen classification for washing.
• Reset E-tech System if system faults out adhering to SOP.
• Troubleshoot system error, diagnosing issues and correcting as needed based on SOP for trouble shooting (Alarms).
• Notify Senior Management and Engineers immediately of any and all chronic issues with machinery.
• Monitor water temperature from wash status screen on washers.
• Monitor moisture content of terry linen in the dryers to avoid over drying.
• Monitor and resolve chemical errors on machines.
• Complete an end of shift report on assigned areas; meet with Shift Leads for sign off.
• Keep all work areas clean and free of debris.
• Report all health and safety issues immediately to Senior Management.
• Attend all training sessions for proficiency in running of E-tech, Braun washers and dryers / Tunnel systems operations.
• Remove all lint from the dryer screens at the start of each shift
• Perform all other duties that may be required from time to time.
• Attend all department and company meetings as required.

• The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) days a week business. Therefore, it may be necessary to change the accustomed shifts at times, as the business demands.

Required Qualifications:

· Minimum of high school diploma

· Training from a vocational college preferred but not essential

· Braun Skill Operations Training a plus.

· E-tech Pro Rail Training a plus.

· Ability to work flexible shifts

· Team oriented
