Responsibilities:
- Build a new mobile app from scratch on a modern, scalable architecture using React Native, while analyzing the existing legacy app to ensure functional parity for current users.
- Take full ownership of technology selection, critical architectural decisions, and driving continuous improvement of the codebase.
- Lead the full lifecycle from UX discussions and technical design to implementation, testing, and production rollout.
- Own the mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, GitHub Actions) and manage the entire app store submission process for both iOS and Android.
- Ensure a crash-free session rate of 99.5% and ANR within industry norms through robust observability and crash reporting (Sentry/Firebase).
Required knowledge in the following technology stacks:
- Mobile: React Native, TypeScript.
- Native: Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android).
- Infrastructure and Ops: Monorepo, GitHub Actions, Fastlane.
- Testing and Monitoring: Vitest/Jest, Detox/Appium, Sentry, Firebase.
