Your mission

• You will develop and optimize technical solutions, workflows, and frameworks within the Unreal Engine, thereby laying the foundation for scalable and sustainable content production.
• You’ll drive the continuous development of our visualization platform and evaluate new technologies, methods, and standards in the field of real-time rendering.
• You’ll analyze production processes and identify opportunities for optimization throughout the entire content pipeline.
• You’ll support our artists and content teams with technical concepts, best practices, and efficient workflows.
• You ensure the technical and visual quality of our content and help maintain compliance with defined quality and performance standards.
• You are responsible for the technical development and quality assurance of real-time content with a focus on stability, reusability, and scalability.
• You work closely with experts in software development, architecture, data provision, and content production, balancing technical requirements with creative solutions.
• You will support the delivery and presentation of visualization content and ensure consistent presentation across different use cases and digital touchpoints.
• You will assume technical responsibility for the quality, performance, and future-readiness of our Unreal-based visualization solutions and actively contribute to their operational implementation.

What you need to succeed

• Several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) as an Unreal Artist, Technical Artist, or in a comparable role within professional real-time productions.
• Very good knowledge of Unreal Engine and modern real-time visualization technologies.
• Experience in the development, optimization, and technical support of visualization solutions and content workflows.
• Good knowledge of material systems, rendering, real-time performance, and content pipelines.
• Experience analyzing and optimizing technical and visual quality.
• Basic knowledge of Unreal Blueprints.
• Strong technical understanding and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
• High standards for quality and an eye for detail.
• Ability to work well in a team, take initiative, and enjoy collaborating in interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent knowledge of German and English.

Nice to have

• Experience in the automotive industry or in vehicle visualization.
• Knowledge of other 3D and DCC tools such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, VRED, Deltagen, or comparable applications.
• Experience working with digital content production processes and asset pipelines.
• Basic knowledge of scripting or automation technologies.
• Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Proficiency in using collaboration and project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• A bachelor's or master's degree with a focus on computer science, media technology, design, or a comparable qualification.
