About the Role
This role leads group consolidation and financial reporting for a multi-entity structure, sitting within a lean Finance team and reporting directly to the Head of Finance. You will own end-to-end consolidation workflows and play a central part in producing accurate, timely group financial statements as the business scales.
What You'll Do
Design and continuously improve consolidation processes, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and capital consolidation in LucaNet, with a focus on scalability.
Consolidate individual financial statements from group entities and contribute to the preparation of full and partial consolidated financial statements, including plausibility checks and financial analysis.
Support group reporting at both standalone and consolidated levels, creating and commenting on budget-versus-actual analyses and examining complex balance sheet and P&L structures.
Advise group companies on harmonising accounting and tax treatments across the organisation.
Continuously refine and optimise consolidation and reporting processes to drive operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
3 or more years of hands-on experience in group accounting and consolidation across multiple entities, covering intercompany reconciliations, interim result eliminations, capital consolidation, and debt consolidation.
Experience preparing and reviewing full or partial consolidated financial statements, including plausibility checks and variance analysis.
Proficiency with LucaNet or a comparable consolidation platform used in a live consolidation context.
Degree in business administration, accounting, or finance with a focus on HGB and/or IFRS, or an equivalent professional qualification.
A background that spans both accounting/controlling and group consolidation rather than a single discipline.
Experience in a fast-growing or scale-up environment, or a background from an audit or advisory practice, is a strong plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and/or DATEV is advantageous.
Fluent German at C1 level or above (written and spoken) and business-fluent English at C1 level or above.
Structured, analytical, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic setting.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this role is EUR 55,000 to EUR 80,000, depending on experience.
Location
This is a fully on-site position based in Munich, Germany.
