Responsibilities:

  • Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend systems powering data ingestion, processing, and knowledge graph construction.
  • Design and develop frameworks to operationalize large language models and retrieval systems.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP or AWS) for high performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with ML, frontend, and product teams to design workflows and deliver seamless integrations.
  • Ensure observability, scalability, and fault tolerance in production systems.
  • Lead and influence decisions around infrastructure modernization and AI tooling.
  • Stay on the pulse of evolving backend and AI/ML tech to ensure we remain industry leaders.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on backend development experience, preferably in Python or Node.js .
  • Strong experience building scalable abstractions and internal tools for other developers.
  • Practical knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP or AWS) and infrastructure as code.
  • Familiarity with orchestration and container tech: Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, etc.
