Lead Surveyor - Geospatial, Queensland Land & Water

What you’ll do

As a Lead Surveyor in our Geospatial team based in our Brisbane Office, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

• Advise clients on survey and spatial requirements for complex engineering projects from concept to delivery
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges and manage risks for design on water, transport, defence, energy, environment and industrial projects.
• Deliver high-quality advice and data thatinforms decisions
• Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions
• Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance including experience with large datasets
• Have the ability to lead, mobilise and manage a team of surveyors

What you’ll bring

• Relevant engineering qualifications and experience in survey.
• Surveyors Board of Queensland Registration would be highly valued along with a Cadastral Endorsement or desire to obtain this.
• A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
• The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
• Ability to travel from time to time to support projects mostly in Queensland.
