Position Overview

The Account Executive, Regional Accountsis responsible fordriving profitable growth across a portfolio of medium-sized and large customers within an assigned territory. The primary focus of the role is to generate new business, expand existing customer relationships, and identifyopportunities to increase Autodesk's footprint through value-based selling.

As a trusted advisor, you will engage with executive stakeholders to understand their business priorities and position Autodesk's Design and Make solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes. Success in this role is built on developing strategic account plans, creating new opportunities, and collaborating across the Autodesk ecosystem to accelerate customer growth.

Working closely with Technical Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Marketing, Partners, and Industry Specialists, you will develop and execute territory strategies that generate pipeline, drive customer success, and consistently exceed growth targets.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Account Executive, Expansion.We offer hybrid contracts with no minimum office days

Responsibilities

  • Drive Territory Growth: Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on generating new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and exceeding annual growth targets.
  • Build Pipeline: Identify, qualify, and progress new opportunities through proactive prospecting, executive engagement, and collaboration with Business Development Representatives and Partners.
  • Grow Existing Customers: Identifywhitespace opportunities, drive cross-sell and upsell motions, and increase Autodesk's strategic footprint within assigned accounts.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop trusted relationships with business and executive stakeholders.
  • Executive Selling: Conduct discovery sessions, deliver compelling business presentations, build value-based business cases, negotiate commercial agreements, and successfully close opportunities.
  • Customer Strategy: Develop account plans that align Autodesk solutions with customers' business priorities and long-term transformation initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Technical Sales, Customer Success, Specialists, Marketing, and Channel Partners to execute coordinated account strategies and deliver customer value.
  • Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Maintainan accuratepipeline and forecast while providingstrategic insights to leadership.
  • Mentorship: Share best practices and contribute to the development of less experienced team members.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of successful B2B software or technology sales experience managing regional, commercial, or enterprise accounts -incl. a proven track record.
  • Demonstrated experience buildingpipeline, developing opportunities, and closing complex value-based sales- we’relooking for a closer!
  • Strong consultative selling skills with experience building executive-level business cases and ROI-driven value propositionsincl. C-level engagement.
  • Experience inmanaging a portfolio of customers through collaboration withTechnical Sales, Business Development,Marketing, and Channel Partners.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using CRM and sales data to manage pipelineand forecast accurately.
  • Fluent English and Norwegian and or Danish
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

PreferredQualifications

  • Experience selling into the AECO, Manufacturing, or Design & Make Industries
  • Familiarity with Autodesk solutions or comparable engineeringandcollaboration platforms.
