About the role

The Operations Manager is part of Avalere Health’s Corporate Marketing Team, which is responsible fordeveloping and delivering the corporate brand, thought leadership, PR, and integrated marketing activity. The role partners closely with digital specialists to ensure the platforms, systems, and data underpinning integrated campaigns operatereliably and efficiently, supporting increased awareness, strengthened reputation, and commercial opportunities.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Corporate Marketing, this role is accountable for the operational infrastructure that enables the wider team to deliver against the marketing goals of the Group corporate brand, as well as Avalere Health's three capabilities - Advisory, Medical, and Marketing.

The role is central to the effective functioning of Corporate Marketing, providing the team with the platform integration, resourcing visibility and performance insight requiredto plan and deliver on strategic goals with confidence.

What You'll Do

Operational excellence and process management

  • Develop a culture and processes of operational excellence within the Corporate Marketing team, leading on all Corporate Marketing process development and implementation.

  • Understand, evaluate, develop, and recommend project management and workflow processes that support the prioritization of tasks and improve efficiency and team collaboration.

  • Lead efforts to identify templates, tools, and resources - including applications for Artificial Intelligence - that could streamline campaign creation, simplify review processes, and improve the quality and efficiency of the team's work.

Internal partnerships and resource management

  • Manage how Corporate Marketing projects are resourced out to partner teams, including digital and creative teams.

  • Act as the central point of contact for coordinating resource requests with partner teams, ensuring requests are scoped clearly, timelines are realistic, and work is tracked through to delivery.

  • Maintain visibility of resourcing commitments across active projects, flagging conflicts or bottlenecks with partner team capacity early enough to inform planning.

  • Support prioritization discussions with accurate, up-to-date information on resourcing status and lead times from partner teams.

  • Act as the central point of coordination across Corporate Marketing, building strong working relationships with digital specialists, creatives and senior stakeholders across the business.

  • Balance competing operational demands while maintaining consistency and reliability across the team's systems.

Performance, metrics, and reporting

  • Manage and optimize metrics and ROI reporting for Marketing projects, including LinkedIn performance, paid campaigns, internal comms, and website traffic.

  • Enhance year-on-year campaign performance tracking for easy comparison and to inform future planning.

  • Review performance metrics regularly, interpreting the data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and possible correlations with external factors such as media coverage or world events.

  • Translating performance data into actionable insights that informs ongoing optimization and strategic decision-making.

Marketing technology (MarTech) and digital platform management

  • Manage MarTech systems day-to-day, including maintenance, optimizing usage, contracting and renewals, and scoping and implementing new systems as needed.

  • Understand, evaluate, and evolve the MarTech ecosystem, looking for tools that may offer improvements, new benefits, or cost savings compared to existing tools and processes.

  • Partner with the Digital Team to project manage new digital projects for the corporate brand, from planning to execution, including website updates, CMS management and uploads, SEO/SEM, eventual CRM development, and other projects with the digital team as needed.

  • Partner with digital specialists to drive SEO, GEO, and ad word strategy, ensuring content and campaigns achieve appropriate visibility with target audiences.

Business development support

  • Support the CRM integration project, partnering with our digital specialists to ensure the correct information surfaces on the platform.

  • Manage and optimize the leads process with BD teams.

Content and events operations

  • Project manage the next series of the Within Reach podcast, working with our producer to run the podcast from guest selection to scheduling, coordination, and publication.

  • Project manage marketing campaigns, including scoping resources, developing project plans and timelines, and ensuring smooth campaign development.

  • Support the Associate Director to manage internal Town Halls, ensuring internal events are delivered smoothly.

  • Support the Associate Director as needed with copywriting, editing, visual asset development, social post scheduling, Marketo builds and scheduling, and other associated tasks.

About You

  • Proven experience in a marketing operations, digital marketing, or campaign management role, ideally within healthcare, life sciences, or professional services.

  • Working knowledge of marketing automation and MarTech platforms (Marketo or equivalent, Bitly, Google Analytics), website CMS environments, and paid social/search advertising (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads).

  • Experience with CRM systems and an understanding of how marketing and CRM data connect.

  • Working knowledge of SEO/SEM fundamentals; familiarity with GEO (generative engine optimization) is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to translate performance data into clear, actionable recommendations and identify trends and correlations across data sets.

  • Experience developing and improving operational processes, workflows, and resourcing models, with a view towards operational maturity.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple platforms, projects, and stakeholders concurrently.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with specialist functions and senior stakeholders.

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with comfort supporting copy-focused tasks across corporate and internal communications.

  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve marketing effectiveness and team productivity.
