The Opportunity

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer who can help architect and build AvancerPI's enterprise products while establishing the engineering discipline required to scale the product team. This role combines architecture, implementation, code/design review, technical decision-making and mentoring.

What You'll Build

• Enterprise B2B products for migration, infrastructure/platform automation, cloud operations and resource/program management.
• Backend services, APIs and long-running orchestration workflows.
• Modern customer-facing web applications.
• Integrations with virtualization, cloud, Kubernetes and enterprise-management APIs.
• Multi-tenant capabilities, RBAC, auditability and secure service boundaries.
• AI-assisted product capabilities, RAG and agentic workflows where appropriate.
• Observability, logging, reliability and operational tooling.

What You'll Do

• Own architecture and technical design for significant product capabilities.
• Write production-grade frontend/backend code and remain hands-on.
• Design maintainable APIs, data models and service boundaries.
• Build asynchronous and long-running workflows with clear failure/retry semantics.
• Design secure authentication, authorization, tenancy and audit models.
• Containerize and deploy services on Kubernetes.
• Establish CI/CD, automated testing, code-review and release practices.
• Improve product observability, reliability, performance and supportability.
• Review code, design documents, product requirements and engineering trade-offs.
• Work closely with product, infrastructure/domain specialists and customers to understand real use cases.
• Mentor graduate/intermediate developers and create a strong engineering feedback loop.
• Evaluate technologies pragmatically and make build-vs-buy decisions.
• Help take products from early-stage development into stable enterprise deployments.

Preferred Technical Background

• TypeScript/JavaScript and/or Python.
• React / Next.js or a comparable modern frontend framework.
• Node.js / NestJS or an equivalent backend framework.
• PostgreSQL or similar relational database technology.
• REST APIs and distributed-service integrations.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Git, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Cloud/infrastructure/platform APIs.

Good to Have

• Terraform / Ansible.
• Enterprise infrastructure, virtualization or cloud-platform exposure.
• LLM/RAG/agentic application development.
• Multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
• Security/RBAC architecture.
• Experience taking a B2B product from prototype/early stage into production.
