Position: Global Account Manager
Location: Bangalore/Mohali
Position type: Full-Time
Job Overview:
Commercial ownership of enterprise and regional accounts, focused on growth, retention, and structured new business development. Drives revenue expansion, supports complex multi-country deals, and ensures execution alignment between customer and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow assigned enterprise/regional accounts
- Develop and execute structured account plans
- Generate new business within accounts and new logos
- Support and lead complex multi-country deal pursuits
- Maintain pipeline accuracy and forecasting discipline in Salesforce
- Lead or support proposal development and pricing alignment
- Coordinate with Solutioning, Finance, Legal, and Delivery
- Manage customer relationships at Manager–Director level
- Identify risks, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
- Ensure adherence to governance, pricing, and contract processes
Required Skills
- Strong commercial execution and negotiation capability
- Structured account management discipline
- Understanding of IT services and field services domain
- Stakeholder communication at mid-senior level
- Pipeline and forecasting rigor
Tools / Systems / Technical Knowledge
- Salesforce (pipeline, forecasting, reporting)
- MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of ITIL-based service delivery environments
Decision-Making Authority
- Account-level commercial decisions within defined thresholds
- Opportunity qualification and prioritization
- Input into pricing and commercial structuring
Problem-Solving Complexity
- Moderate to complex; requires structured thinking across commercial, delivery, and customer constraints
Stakeholder Management / Influence
- Internal: Sales, Delivery, Finance, Legal, Solutioning
- External: Enterprise customers (Manager–Director level)
- Works under GAM for large global accounts
Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Business, IT, Engineering or related)
- MBA preferred
Experience Requirements
- 8–12 years in IT services or technology sales
- Experience in enterprise account management
- Exposure to multi-country or multi-service deals
