About the Role

Position Summary:

This role covers a wide spectrum of responsibility, from system/ tech administration and data analysis, through to process definition. You’ll need to be a hands-on operator, frequently liaising with sales and marketing teams to develop and improve upon current and future campaigns and initiatives. You will manage our sales technology stack, implementing the operational processes for sales campaigns and programs, and tracking the analytics that support all functions on the Sales and Operations teams.

Join our India team as a Salesforce Administrator for the Sales & Marketing Team. 

What you will do: 

• Sales Force System Administration:
  • Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Customization & Configuration:
  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and process automation.
  • Develop reports and dashboards for various departments to improve decision-making.
  • Configure Salesforce to align with business processes and objectives.
• Data Management:
  • Ensure data accuracy, de-duplication, and compliance with company policies.
  • Perform regular data imports, exports, and backups.
  • Develop best practices for data governance and securit
• User Support & Training:
  • Provide ongoing support and training to Salesforce users.
  • Proactively manage a streamlined onboarding process for Sales & Marketing across the two systems
  • Document system processes and user guidelines.
  • Assist teams with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

• Integration & Enhancements:
  • Work with third-party applications and integrations (e.g., marketing automation, ERP systems).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system improvements.
  • Work directly with our Salesforce and HubSpot teams to ensure we stay “ahead of the curve” on System Capabilities
  • Drive process and system change as outlined in the Avathon Vision and Goals & Objectives

• Marketing Operations and Sales Enablement activities: 
  • Leverage existing vendor relationships and tools (Hubspot, Salesfroce, Zoominfo, and others) to maximize our efficiency and performance of the sales operations function
  • Manage our existing sales technology stack, implement new technologies to optimize the stack, troubleshoot issues, and support end user training as needed.
  • Develop and deliver training to empower team members to support the sales team’s effectiveness and assist in the adoption of our sales technology stack.
  • Define, document, manage, and optimize key sales operations processes, including pipeline, lead, and database management best practices and segmentation.
  • Collaborate with the Operations teams to implement best-in-class analytics that provide insight across all product offerings and activities

You shall have: 

• 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security, and automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, etc.).
• Experience with reports, dashboards, and data management best practices.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and user support.
• Preferred:
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
• Knowledge of integration tools (e.g., Outlook, Hubspot, Finance tools).
• As above for HubSpot - or willingness to learn HubSpot as a secondary Skill
