Senior DevOps Engineer

We design and engineer software solutions for leading clients across banking, insurance, life sciences, and automotive industries. To strengthen our delivery capabilities, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about modern infrastructure, automation, and cloud environments.

Core skills you’ll bring

• Solid experience with Linux, Docker, GIT, and networking fundamentals

• Working knowledge of SQL and Redis

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

• Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift

• Experience with Proxy/LB, Apache, or Nginx

• Exposure to Java or .NET application administration

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar tools

• Experience with GitOps practices and Argo CD for continuous delivery

• Knowledge of Bash, Python, or Perl scripting is highly valued

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills

• Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented work style

• Fluent in Czech or Slovak

• Good command of English, especially for reading technical documentation and professional communication

The impact you'll create

• Architect and optimize infrastructure to host critical applications, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Drive the improvement and automation of IT processes, leveraging your expertise to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

• Contribute to our containerization strategy, working within a team dedicated to providing robust and scalable container virtualization solutions.

• Collaborate closely with development teams on CI/CD pipelines, helping to build and maintain seamless integration and delivery workflows.

• Automate deployment and testing procedures, ensuring rapid, reliable, and repeatable software releases.

• Manage the lifecycle of application deployments, including new version installations, ongoing operational maintenance, and proactive troubleshooting. You'll also analyze and resolve complex production issues.

• Conduct capacity planning to ensure our infrastructure can meet growing demands, along generally debug and optimize running applications for peak performance.

• Administer Linux servers, ensuring their stability, security, and optimal configuration.

• Coordinate and resolve customer-reported issues by collaborating effectively with support teams.

• Innovate and contribute your own technical ideas and solutions. You'll be challenged to work on a high-impact project for the country's largest IT provider.

• The basic salary component from 3000 EUR gross per month - the exact amount of the salary depends on the actual knowledge and experience, qualifications and expertise of the candidate
