We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master who is ready and motivated to step up into a "Junior" Release Train Engineer (RTE) role. The ideal candidate has solid experience working in a scaled Agile environment, preferably within an Agile Release Train (ART), and is comfortable taking on responsibilities beyond the traditional Scrum Master role.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience as a Senior Scrum Master in an ART or other scaled Agile environment - this is a mandatory requirement.
Strong understanding of SAFe and scaled Agile ways of working.
Ideally, SAFe RTE or SPC training/certification, or extensive hands-on experience supporting an RTE.
Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Jira configuration and Jira Dashboards - this is a must.
Experience configuring Jira Plans / Advanced Roadmaps and/or Structure is a strong advantage.
Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
A genuine interest in Agile Leadership and the ability to operate effectively across teams and at program level.
The confidence and willingness to gradually take on RTE responsibilities, supporting coordination, planning, dependencies, risks, and alignment across multiple teams.
What you will do:
As a Senior Scrum Master you will combine your existing Scrum Master expertise with broader program-level responsibilities. You will support the coordination of multiple teams, facilitate cross-team collaboration, help manage dependencies and risks, and contribute to key ART-level events and planning activities. This is a great opportunity for someone who has already been operating beyond the boundaries of a single Scrum team and is looking to take the next step toward an RTE career path.
