Account Manager

Job Description:

• Identify and approach customers where Averna can make a difference
• Understand customer needs and position Averna as the partner of choice for mission-critical challenges
• Develop and execute account strategies for the UK and Ireland
• Forecast and manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce
• Expand customer relationships and penetrate new accounts
• Collaborate with pre-sales teams, including Solution Architects and Proposal Writers, to win complex deals
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms
• Represent Averna at approximately one tradeshow or event per quarter

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology with a strong Business mind
• At least 8 years of consultative sales experience in engineering solutions, ideally with Fortune 500 OEMs
• Experience in MedTech is a strong plus
• Knowledge of test and measurement solutions or capital equipment sales is highly valued
• Self-motivated, autonomous, and driven to create new opportunities
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• Willing to travel up to 60% of the time
• Driver’s license required
