Join AXA Climate as a Latam Underwriter, where you will define and execute the commercial growth strategy across LATAM markets, originate new business opportunities, and build strategic partnerships. You will also contribute to underwriting strategy and execution for climate-related insurance and parametric products, oversee opportunity selection and portfolio development, and support contract structuring and implementation. Additionally, you will structure and price weather-related parametric products, establish underwriting guidelines, and manage risk accumulation.
Missions
- Definir y ejecutar la estrategia de crecimiento comercial de AXA Climate en los mercados de LATAM, identificando riesgos climáticos emergentes y necesidades de los clientes.
- Originar nuevas oportunidades de negocio con corredores, aseguradoras, instituciones del sector público, ONG y socios financieros.
- Contribuir a la estrategia de suscripción y ejecución para productos de seguros relacionados con el clima y paramétricos en América Latina.
Profil recherché
* 7+ years of experience in underwriting, reinsurance, or structured risk solutions.* Strong understanding of insurance markets in LATAM and broker ecosystems.
* Experience in agriculture, climate risk, nat cat, or parametric solutions is highly desirable.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build markets from the ground up.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluent in Spanish and English required; Portuguese is a strong plus.
