Overview

Buyer Specialist is responsible for assisting the direct superior in developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure the end-to-end (E2E) procurement function operates in line with the business objectives, adds value, mitigate risk, deliver cost savings, and ensures proper procurement governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process purchase requests and select suitable suppliers
  • Conduct cost analysis and negotiate pricing and contracts
  • Manage relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Support contract preparation and coordination with legal
  • Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare procurement reports and updates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Engineering, or related field
  • 4-6 years of procurement experience
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
