Distributor Technical Representative
SA Color is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Sales Representative to maintain and grow sales within the South Australian automotive refinish market. The role is responsible for managing an existing customer portfolio, developing new business opportunities, providing product solutions, and maintaining strong relationships with body shops, dealerships, and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an assigned customer territory.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Promote Axalta and associated product ranges.
- Provide product recommendations and technical support to customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.
- Deliver sales growth in line with budget targets.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
- Work closely with internal customer service, warehouse, and technical teams.
- Maintain CRM and customer records.
- Support promotional campaigns, product launches, and training activities.
Skills & Experience
- Previous B2B sales experience, preferably in automotive refinish, industrial coatings, or related industries.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Current driver's licence.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
