Are you passionate about technology, learning, and helping others succeed? Axis Communications is looking for a skilled and engaging Technical Trainer to support our Canadian sales organization through high-quality educational programs, technical training, and customer engagement.
In this role, you will help deliver a consistent, branded, and streamlined learning experience for internal teams, partners, and customers across Canada. You will develop and deliver presentations, educational courses, webinars, and customized training that support the continued advancement of Axis products, IP network cameras, and network video solutions.
What You’ll Do Here…
- Deliver in-person and virtual courses for internal and external customers and partners.
- Deliver customized training for key partners and customers on demand.
- Participate in the development and contribute to the development of KPIs related to attendance and training goals.
- Maintain training centre and equipment.
- Conduct bi-annual planning of Academy schedule with the sales team, ensuring a consistent country-wide scheduling of courses for partners and customers.
- Conduct attendee surveys and improve training program as needed based on feedback.
- Serve as Axis diplomat on training, new product initiatives, and at tradeshows.
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise on the Axis portfolio, incorporating new offerings, features, and knowledge into the courses on a regular basis.
- Perform needs analysis for course development.
- Develop familiarity, readiness, and execute delivery with content generated by Academy stakeholders in Americas and global headquarters.
- Generate new content as needed to address the strategic goals of the Canadian team and market.
- Assist in the technical development of internal personnel.
- Perform other related duties when assigned.

- Travel independently and productively
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- 5+ years related experience training/professional development
- 2+ years Network Surveillance/CCTV/Physical Security
Valued, but Not Required…
- Holding current Certification(s) such as Axis Certified Professional (ACP), PSP, or CPP, etc.
- Fluent in French

- Expected travel time for this position is approximately 70%.
Pay Range
The approximate total compensation range for this location and position is $100K-$115K, which includes a 90% base / 10% commission OTE and corporate bonus. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the province.
