RayNeo is a Chinese consumer electronics company based in Shenzhen that designs and sells augmented reality and XR smart glasses, including the X3 Pro, Air and V-series models, together with a companion app and a developer platform. The business grew out of a TCL communications innovation lab that began AR work in 2018 and became a separate company in October 2021; it develops its own full-colour MicroLED optical engines, waveguide optics and SLAM algorithms and sells online in China and abroad. It hires optical, structural, thermal and simulation engineers, test and reliability specialists, AI and perception algorithm researchers, and interns.
