About the role:
Reports toSenior Manager
As part ofourReal Assets teaminGuernsey,you will provideoversight of routine day-to-day processes tofacilitatethe delivery of payment operationsfora large number offund structuresfor one of our largest institutional clients.
You will become a key part of an exciting client team,ensuring that all payments are completed on time and in line with our Aztec policiesand proceduresas well asprovidingtechnical support and "B" signatory responsibilities.
Keyresponsibilities:
Lead and manage Payments team to achieve accuracy and timeliness in payment processingfrom start to finish
Manage together with Payments team the bank accounts of the client making sure that positive balances are kept at all the timeand client is informed on time on any changes
Ensure that all payment deliverables are met within defined paymentdeadlinesandpoliciesacross various banking portals and ensuring 100% accuracy
Identifyareas of process improvement and discuss with line manager to implement the same
Ensure all the internal and client trackers and reports aremaintainedand reviewed on regular basisand making sure that we can provide to the clientaccuraterecords
Proactively drive the billing process, prepare analysis asrequired
Ensure invoices are issuedtimely,accurateand complete by client’s guidelines and expectations
Ensure staff are trained on electronic banking systems,co-ordinate the opening of new bank accountsand manage the implementation of any new banking systems and users
Supervise the team of payment officers to include staffing, coaching, performancemanagementand problem solving
Act as “B” level 4-eyes signatory on administration matters, ensuring that company policy and professional and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and that a professional quality service is provided to clients and outside contacts
Skills, knowledge,expertise:
3 - 5 years' experience in a similar position
General banking platform experience
Advanced computer literacy skills are essential
Proven people management experience
Previous experience of working with fund structures would be beneficial, but not essential
Strong organisational skillsand ability to multi-task
Self-driven and highly motivated, proactive to client needs and able to work independently
Solution orientated with strong analytical skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Strong team-player
Positive, flexible personality, easily adapting to changes and willing to undertake new tasks
High levelof integrity and dependability
