About the role:
As a Manager / Manager II (Band 3), you will be responsible for the leadership of a team or project, driving process improvement, operational excellence and contributing towards broader team strategies. This will be achieved through leading, motivating and coaching a team that is focused on outcomes, being open-minded and embracing change whilst valuing diverse perspectives and channelling a 'can-do' attitude. You will support business and people growth through connecting and collaborating across the business to enable Aztec's future ambitions.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Review the preparation of corporate tax returns, tax provisions and tax assessments.
Review VAT returns and other indirect tax compliance obligations.
Review DAC6 cross-border arrangement assessments and related reporting obligations.
Act as a key point of contact for external tax advisers, auditors and tax authorities.
Respond to queries relating to Irish and international tax matters.
Maintain appropriate records and oversee compliance with all tax filing deadlines relating to clients' entities.
Coordinate with clients and other service providers to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance.
Lead and support the management of jurisdictional tax matters, while assisting the wider tax team and business development team in identifying and pursuing new tax service opportunities.
Line manage, coach and support the professional development and training of the tax team.
Drive process improvements, risk management initiatives and best practices across the tax compliance function.
