Senior Project Manager - Data Platform Migration

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale data platform vendor change project within an international organization in the financial sector.

The role requires strong end-to-end project ownership, including delivery planning, risk and dependency management, budgeting, stakeholder management, and executive-level reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a large-scale platform migration / vendor change project end-to-end,

• Coordinate activities related to the transition between technology vendors,

• Plan and manage project timelines, dependencies, resources, and deliverables,

• Identify, monitor, and proactively manage project risks and issues,

• Manage project budget and financial forecasting,

• Coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders,

• Run regular project team meetings and ensure effective communication across workstreams,

• Monitor delivery progress and escalate risks or blockers when required,

• Prepare and deliver status updates and reports for senior stakeholders and Steering Committees,

• Ensure strong project management discipline and predictable project delivery.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in complex IT environments,

• Proven experience in leading a large-scale platform migration or vendor replacement/change project,

• Experience in data platform, Big Data, infrastructure, cloud, or other complex technology migration projects,

• Strong experience in risk and issue management, dependency management, and delivery planning,

• Hands-on experience in project budget management and financial forecasting,

• Strong stakeholder management skills, including cooperation with executive-level stakeholders,

• Experience in preparing and presenting SteerCo / executive-level reporting,

• Ability to independently drive complex projects and proactively address risks and delivery challenges,

• Fluent English (C1+), both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience with large-scale data or Big Data platform migrations,

• Experience in vendor transition or technology replacement programmes,

• Previous experience in the financial sector or another complex, regulated environment.
