About the Role :
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer II with strong expertise in AWS, cloud infrastructure, and automation. The ideal candidate will help build, maintain, and optimise scalable infrastructure while improving deployment efficiency, system reliability, and production performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Manage and optimise AWS services, including EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and IAM.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and release processes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Monitor infrastructure and application performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues.
- Automate routine operational tasks using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows and operational efficiency.
- Follow cloud security best practices and optimise infrastructure costs.
Required Skills :
- 3 - 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or a related role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly EKS, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, and IAM.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Scripting experience in Bash or Python.
- Understanding of networking, security, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have :
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or AWS CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, and distributed systems.
- Experience with configuration management and deployment automation.
- Exposure to high-availability, high-traffic production environments.
- Experience with cloud cost optimisation and infrastructure security.
