Baker Tilly has an incredible career opportunity for a Senior Consultant/Fee Fund Administrator to join our growing London Forensics, Litigation & Valuation Services (FLVS) team. Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor multiple fee funds, including tracking balances, progressing matters as required, following up on outstanding payments, and processing payments upon receipt
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with Principals, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure timely fund administration and exceptional client service.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate financial records, and tracking payments or fund activity in a fast-paced professional services environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple fee funds, monitor payment activity, and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Be flexible and responsive to client needs, being available for meetings at times and places stipulated by the client. This can involve working long days and tight deadlines.
- Team player who works well with all other team members.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have an accounting background, preferably with experience in an accounting support or clerk-level role. An accounting qualification is preferred but not essential.
- We are looking for someone who is eager to move from a back-office accounting position into a more client-facing role, with opportunities to develop broader business, operational, and stakeholder management skills
- A record of progressively increasing knowledge, skill, responsibility, and independence
- Individuals in this position must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Must be willing to work non-traditional business hours to meet client demands if required
- Confidence to handle confrontation, pressure and deadlines
- Candidates with language skills are encouraged to apply but fluency in English is required
- Skilled at building relationships with others
- Able to work in the UK without sponsorship (unfortunately we cannot accept spouse/ graduate visas).
